dream career: Fiber-artist-and-writer who doesn’t have people fail to understand that it takes many hours to handmake things and the creator should be paid a fucking living wage for those damned hours. Or, you know, UBI so that I can afford to not worry about people expecting mass-manufacturing prices for hand-made goods.
dream vacation: all-expenses-paid month in a high-quality hotel with good sound insulation between rooms, within a half mile of a beach or lake, decent public transit, and either a good kitchen or near a good restaurant. No internet, no phone, just my laptop, some notebooks and pens, some drawing and painting supplies, and my entire stash of cotton thread.

how you like to keep your hair: either pinned up at the back of my head or braided in one or two braids. It’s too long to leave loose for any longer than it takes to brush it out or wash it.

    Still Theron had been convinced and Lana was now inconvenienced.  Yet any reason to visit a tropical isle with lush beaches instead of a filthy pub, or months on a old musty ship was a plus in Lana’s books.

Oohh, thanks. I’m feeling generous, so have two sentences:

It seemed like everyone who survived deployment to Hoth came away with a ghost story of some kind – odd cries in the night, bizarre electromagnetic interference, vague humanoid figures in the peripheries of one’s vision. Those stories most definitely did not play a role in Quinn’s maneuverings to stay off of Hoth; every sighting was easily explained in mundane, scientific terms.

Quinn is absolutely NOT sitting in the dark and freaking himself out. Nope.

I grew up in N. Cali, Washington State, Oregon, and Georgia.

Lol, I can’t be anything other than neutral AU. It’s Qui-Gon’s fault. ;P

I seem to hover between neutral au and chaotic fusion, lol

I’m dominantly Fusion. All of Fusion, but known for Neutral Fusion, I guess?

A little bit of everything, but Chaotic Fusion seems to be the most popular.

*eyes the chart* Neutral Fusion/Neutral AU, with a strong tendency toward Chaotic AU as well. Hints of Lawful Fusion or Chaotic Fusion, as well. Lawful AU can bite me, and anything Canon is usually boring for me to write.

(Granted, if you’re asking me what I read, the answer is very simply “yes.”)

In the Silence and the Dark

First:

The Jedi kneels on the floor of the cargo hold of the old ship, looking for all the galaxy as if he’s meditating. Trying to, anyway.

Last:

“No.” Vinris can’t see a key on any of the small tables in the room, either, and that makes her uneasy, as if they’ve walked into a trap all too willingly. Even though she doubts they’d be truly trapped, there’s a niggle in the back of her mind that she’s overlooking something.

The End:

Leia looks over the small collection of graves that have been dug into the rocky slopes of Alderaan. The last of the graves scattered across the galaxy, of Jedi and Sith alike, the ashes of a fire that had consumed the Republic in its final and fiercest years.

The quiet satisfaction in the back of her mind from her constant companion echoes her own. Here lies the end of one long-fought and bitter war, and hopefully not the beginnings of another.
