2. Is there any specific ritual you go through while/before/after your writing?
Not always. If I’ve been having a difficult time, I’ll usually queue up one of the writing playlists, light candles and turn off the lights, and close tumblr, but that’s about it for before. Never really had anything I do other than sometimes loop a song for during writing. After – only when the writing has been specifically an offering, and thus mythology of a sort. Usually salt or water into the pot on the altar at that point, or other rituals of offering.
11. Weirdest thing you’ve ever written/thought about writing/etc.?
Erm. I think that all depends on how one defines weird.
Lies, Misdirection, and Terrible Truth was one of the most surreal things to write because of how my brain space was, at the time.
Queen of Mercy and Grace is equally surreal, if distinctly darker, and hasn’t held onto my brain for as long at a time.
Cats and Murder Kittens (also on tumblr) is a sort of AU I usually wouldn’t write, but it’s tooth-rotting fluff and never let it be said Obi-Wan and Maul can’t agree on at least one thing. Even if they can’t agree on how to murderize Palpatine.
