@sanerontheinside and @norcumi – got your asks for the fic writer meme, I shall have answers later. 🙂 Right now, I apparently have brain weasels to hit with a stick, because one of the answers got away from me, dragged up some old trauma, and gleefully decided that playing word association games is an awesome thing to do.

*sighs, and facepalms* I have about half the answers done, and one is technically postable if my brain would just stop insisting on adding a second essay to it about an only tangentially related subject.

if you could build a hoard of any item, what would it be?

I’m not actually sure I’d be able to chose one item. Books, computers, recordings of music, and movies.

from where do you draw your strength?

Silence. That hushed lack of any human-made sound when in the middle of nowhere, wrapped in fog or winter or the middle of the night.

Also from sheer spite, because damnit, I’m not going to be what others want to mold me into being. (Unless they’re trying to nudge me to be a person who does no harm and takes no shit…. I’m still working on both.)
