While I’m not likely to do a lot of writing in the Doctor Who universe at this point (combination of supreme lack of interest in the stuff since the end of Tennant’s run and twitchiness about the way the corner of fandom I was in got pretty toxic very quickly at about the same time), this is one of the AUs I’m most inclined to poke at.

Koschei doesn’t intend to ask for permission to do what he thinks will give the Doctor the best chance at a life after the events of the Time Wars.

Another time and place, and they’ll rest, enjoying each other for a while. Riding out the high until they need another, and then doing it all over again.

     • Not His Day – The Doctor and Romana had an incident in the
       Torchwood Archives, and Koschei has to deal with the aftermath.
     • The Oncoming Slap – Donna finds out about the incident in the archives.
     • Those Who Dance – Koschei and Romana dancing without music or
       other participants.
